Quarter 3 Grades Available on TeacherEase To view your student's Quarter 3 grades, log onto TeacherEase, select your student in the upper right corner of the screen, click on the Grades tile, and then select the Grading Period Quarter 3 . Parent and Student Portal Ash Grove School District has a new student information system this year: TeacherEase . You may access a brief tutorial for the system here: Parent Portal Guide Student s chedules and demographic information are now available on the new student information system, although historical grades are not yet imported. Once the new system is completely setup, parents and students may log into the parent portal throughout the year to view schedules, grades, attendance, and lunch account balance information among other things. If you would like a paper copy of quarter or semester grades, you may contact the high school office to get one printed. If you are new to the district and need to set up the inital login for the parent portal, contact the high school office at 417-751-2330. The phone number to call is 417-751-2330, and the office opens every morning by 7:30am. If your student has had a doctor or dental appointment during school hours, please send a note from that office documenting their visit. The ACT ACT test dates are available several times during the year. Registration deadlines are usually just over a month earlier than the actual test date. For more information on the ACT, visit www.act.org or come by the Counseling Office. Remaining test dates for this academic year: April 13, 2024 (Registration deadline March 8) June 8, 2024 (Registration deadline May 3) July 13, 2024 (Registration deadline June 7) New Student Enrollment Application: Click on the following link and complete the form on a computer or chromebook (currently it won't work on a cell phone or on the mobile device app). This will allow you to create an account on our online portal to begin the registration process: TeacherEase Registration Portal Download and complete the following form so that we can request records from your student's previous school: Request for Records form . You may bring the form to the school when you are enrolling your student, or you may email the completed form to the registrar June Day, jday@agpirates.com to expedite the process of acquiring your student's records. When enrolling your student, please bring the following documents with you: your student's birth certificate, social security card, proof of residency (mortgage document, rental contract, or property tax statement), and immunization record . We will also need a copy of a parent/guardian's driver license or state id. If you have questions about anything in this process, please call the Counseling Office at 417-751-2330 and then select the High School Directory. You may reach the Counseling Office with option 4 or the Registrar with option 8 for more information. Returning Student Registration: Access your child's TeacherEase account by going to teacherease.com or downloading the TeacherEase app on your phone. Log into the system using your email address that is linked to your child's account. When logging in for the first time, select Forgot Password to reset your password. Complete the required annual forms and submit. If you have any issues with accessing the new system or completing the registration, contact the High School Office at 417-751-2330. Seniors and Parents of Seniors: January is the new time to complete the FAFSA! After January 1, the FAFSA, the "Free Application for Federal Student Aid" opens for students to apply for federal student ai d. Any graduating senior who is planning to attend college nex t year should complete the FAFSA as this is a major tool that colleges use to determine a student's financial need and eligibility for federal aid as well as certain financial need-based scholarships. This is not a loan - the grant money you receive from this does not have to be repaid, and it is free to apply. The sooner you fill this out the better. Why? Because if you fill it out sooner, you may be able to get more grants (money) that will help you pay for college. Even if there's the slightest chance you may go to college next year, you need to fill this out. To fill out the FAFSA, here's what you will need to bring: Your Social Security number (it’s important that you enter it correctly on the FAFSA form!)
